Impact

Our impact, with transparency

We present our impact through verifiable work: people guided, wound-care needs we support, and active collaborations with professionals and institutions in Puerto Rico. We do not publish figures we cannot document.

Where we create impact

Patients and families guided

Bilingual educational guidance to understand a chronic wound, prepare for the next appointment, and organize the information the physician needs. Every person is supported individually, without diagnosing or prescribing treatment.

Wound-care needs we support

We support coordination and education for diabetic foot ulcers, venous and arterial ulcers, pressure injuries, and surgical and traumatic wounds. The clinical plan is always directed by the treating professional.

Collaboration with professionals

We work alongside physicians, medical groups, specialized nursing, and care teams that request support with coordination, patient education, documentation, and referral organization.

Institutional collaboration

Conversations and collaboration agreements with hospitals, clinics, long-term care homes, home care agencies, payers, academia, and community organizations interested in structured wound care programs.

Who we collaborate with

These are the types of collaborators we work with in Puerto Rico. We publish an institution's name only with express written authorization.

Wounds and needs

Wounds and needs we support

We work alongside the treating team to support different wound types and care situations.

Diabetic foot ulcers

Educational and coordination support for diabetes-related wounds, with special attention to foot risk.

Venous ulcers

Support in following up wounds related to venous insufficiency and adherence to the prescribed plan.

Arterial ulcers

Coordination with the medical team for wounds associated with arterial circulation problems.

Pressure injuries

Education on prevention, repositioning and skin care for people with limited mobility.

Surgical wounds

Guidance on postoperative care at home and signs that should be reported to the surgeon.

Traumatic wounds

Support in following up wounds from trauma, falls or accidents, under the treating physician's direction.

Figures: how we will publish them

We are consolidating our record of patients guided, wound-care needs supported, and active collaborations. Once each figure is verified, we will publish it with its time period, source, and methodology so any professional or institution can evaluate it with confidence.

We prefer not to show approximate numbers: in health care, a figure without methodology can be misread.

Evidence and transparency

See how we distinguish experience, conceptual demonstrations, implementations and documented results, and what each status label means.

Impact and principles

How we measure and how we collaborate

Our approach to impact

We measure our work by the quality of the process: access to guidance, clarity of the plan, continuity of follow-up, and the satisfaction of the teams we work with. When we have verifiable data from active programs, we will publish it together with its methodology.

Collaboration principles

  • The treating physician leads the clinical plan; we support it.
  • Clear, documented communication in the patient's language.
  • Confidentiality and responsible handling of information.
  • Education before sales: understand first, decide after.
  • Written commitments and realistic expectations.
  • Interdisciplinary collaboration and professional respect.
